Winter Solstice Co-ed Drum Circle
Jo Klein will lead a mellow, reflective drumming circle celebrating the Winter Solstice. There will be poetry readings to remind us of the beauty in all things, even frosty December days. Drums provided, age 16+, no experience necessary. Please register online. Walk-ins are welcome only if there’s room.

GYIL Circle!
Brooke Darrah-Hage will be offering something unique.
A gyil is an African xylophone played with mallets. No experience is necessary, and gyils will be provided. This is a perfect opportunity to explore this intriguing, melodic percussion instrument in a fun, easy setting. All gender identities are welcome.

Taiko Co-ed Drum Circle
On November 15, join Sandi Likely from Taikollaborative for an evening of Intro to Taiko. Taiko is a form of Japanese drumming. The drums are made using wine barrels and cowhide/skin. Students will have the opportunity to learn basic hits and stances.
Fee: $15.00.
