The WDC was started over 30 years ago by a small group of activists! Those women recognized that females were frequently excluded from percussion; they formed an early group that participated in significant social causes like “Take Back the Night”. Since that time, the organization has grown to provide opportunities for many women and the important people in their lives. Click HERE to learn more about our history.
