RHYTHM CONNECTION
Founded 2025
Rhythm Connection is an exuberant hand drum and stick drum ensemble.

Their repertoire includes traditional songs, as well as imaginative original works. A hallmark of the group is its use of mnemonic phrases, turning the cadence of everyday words into dynamic percussion patterns. What begins as simple spoken phrases becomes layered percussion as the ensemble brings the words to life on drums. The result is music that is playful, surprising, and irresistibly rhythmic—proof that sometimes the groove is hiding right in the language we speak every day.
Ensemble Leader: Jo Klein
Rehearsals: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, 7 - 8:30pm
Cost: $20 per rehearsal
