The spring recital will feature Women Who Groove and our co-ed West African Drum Group.

Women Who Groove (WWG) will be performing unique African drum songs and two original pieces for Brazilian drums. Women Who Groove are energetic, enthusiastic and love to share their music.

The West African Drum Group is a co-ed group playing authentic west African songs on djembes and dunns. This is the newest group formed at the WDC so this will be their first performance.

A dessert reception will be a time to speak with the performers and learn more about the groups.

A community drum jam will complete the evening. Everyone will get a chance to play the drums and join in the fun!
